Claudia stated, "Had a great time. Love the layout, course was in great condition. Well bunkered, greens were putting at a nice speed and my putts held their line well. My teacher, Christina Jeno, will be glad to hear that I focused on what we've worked on and scored well to boot, thanks Chris". Claudia shot a wonderous 76 from a mixture of the ivory tees and ruby tees. She played from the Ivory tees to start and on the turn she was informed that the tournament she was playing in on Monday was from the Ruby tees, so she switch to them to get prepared.

After playing the course at Duran in December ‘05, we were more than delighted to find that this course had all the ingredients for some of Florida's finest golf. The beautiful and expansive layout of the course provides fairways with enough forgiveness to enable play while the variations in approaches to the greens heighten the anticipation of the greens themselves. And each green is uniquely challenging.  The overall design and composition of Duran is pleasing to the eye and as the landscaping starts to mature, it just gets nicer.

Management has done an excellent job selecting the Duran staff. Every staff member makes it a priority to treat us with courtesy but more than that, they're committed to ensuring that we enjoy each and every round. We're impressed with their customer skills but more importantly, they all go out of their way to develop a personal interest in us and our enjoyment. Duran staff personnel, in some way, have become part of our extended family. Russell Glasby, the teaching pro, has improved our game enormously with his adept and focused coaching methods. And, with the imminent opening of a full service club house, we'll soon be enjoying lunch and dinner after our round overlooking the beautiful scene of the 9th and 18th fairways and greens. Frankly, the whole experience from start to finish is just plain fun.

Living in Viera is wonderful. It just made sense to become Signature Members at Duran where we can play to our hearts content on a great course right next door.
